We promote access to databases containing evidence-based research on the latest trends in health best practices. This is designed to provide people with the resources they need to stay up-to-date on the latest health-related information and practices.
The Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) is a collaborative project between the São Paulo State Research Foundation (FAPESP) and the Latin American and Caribbean Center for Health Sciences Information (BIREME). This initiative aims to provide a platform for the electronic publication of scientific journals, allowing users to access complete issues through various mechanisms, such as title lists, subject indexes, author indexes, and a search engine.
As a branch of the National Institutes of Health, the National Library of Medicine houses a wide variety of resources. With more than seven million items, its collection includes books, journals, technical reports, manuscripts, microfilms, photographs, and images focused on medicine and its affiliated disciplines. Notably, it houses some of the oldest and rarest works known to mankind.
